Brent Terhune breaks down what life in a small town is really like. He does a pretty damn good job of it, too, based on the boyhood summers I spent in a small town in central Wisconsin. He got the parades where you have more of the townfolk in the parade than left to watch it. At least here in Wisconsin, small towns have one or two gas stations, two or three churches that fill up for an hour every Sunday morning and stand empty the rest of the time and at least a half dozen bars. The only things on the radio is country music or right wing squawk radio. But I do have to admit, I sometimes like to go back just for the corn roasts.
