DeSantis said he was "surprised to see" Trump's congratulations to North Korea for their appointment to the World Health Organization board.

Two Fox News reporters corralled DeSantis in Iowa and asked his thoughts about Trump celebrating North Korea's appointment to the World Health Organization.

“I was surprised to see that,” DeSantis said. "I think, one, Kim Jong Un is a murderous dictator."

Continuing his assault on COVID19 restrictions during the pandemic, DeSantis attacked the WHO.

"And then, the World Health Organization is a bankrupt organization. Like, Kim Jong Un is bad," he said. "We need to be getting out of that and rejecting the WHO lockdown treaty, and not congratulating about being involved in the WHO."

That's tantamount to the gloves coming off for DeSantis against the Orange Julius.
