Mike Pence offered a subtle defense for Trump being found liable for sexual assault when he claimed he never witnessed Trump sexually abusing anyone.
The former Vice President was interviewed by NBC News in Cincinnati and was asked about the Trump defamation and sexual assault verdicts in the civil case against E. Jean Carroll.
Pence gave his typical milquetoast response: It's up to the American people to decide about Trump.
The man sent his MAGA mob to hang you, but you have no opinion?
"It's just one more instance at a time when American families are struggling (yada, yada, yada) -- it's just one more story focusing on my former running mate," Pence said. 'I just don't think it's where the American people are focused."
Wow.
Really? At this moment in time Trump is the leading candidate to receive the Republican nomination for the 2024 presidential election and in Pence's mind the people don't care?
"He was found liable by a jury of the people of sexual abuse -- do you feel comfortable with someone who was found liable in this case serving as president?"
"In my 4 and 1/2 years serving alongside [Trump], I never heard or witnessed behavior of that nature -- so again, I have no knowledge of those allegations or the truth and veracity of them," Pence said.
Pence did his best imitation of Sgt. Schultz from Hogan's Heroes. Is Mike Pence not sure that Ted Bundy ever killed a girl because he never witnessed it in person?
Pence and Republicans are now willing accomplices to Trump's immorality when they refuse to comment or defend the former guy after Trump was found liable of sexual assault and defamation against E Jean Carroll.
What a f**king spineless jellyfish.
The View's Sonny Hostin blasted Pence's response earlier today.

And I also think that one of the troubling things is that you have someone like Mike Pence who says he is a man of faith.
Who says he is an evangelical and says people don’t talk to me about this. Well, Mike Pence, they need to talk to you about this, because as Elissa said, this is about our future. This is about our daughters, our mothers, our wives and women. And how dare you say that this doesn’t matter! That is why rape is the most undereported crime in our country, because of men like Mike Pence that don’t think it’s important.
