Got that? The victims of this mass shooting were "illegal immigrants," so.... what, exactly? It serves them right?

I just spoke to the husband of one of the victims. He confirmed to me that his wife was a permanent resident of the US. He even sent me a picture of her ID confirming this.

Remember, this is a man whose life was changed forever when he hit by a falling tree that left him in a wheelchair. And instead of using that to become a better person, one of the things he did as a member of the Texas Supreme Court was support a cap on noneconomic damages. But because he was a Republican, he insisted the system was abused.

He would have received $250,000.
