Earlier today, Morning Joe eviscerated the Chairman of the Oversight Committee, James Comer, for admitting to Fox News he lost his "top informant" against the Bidens.
"Well, unfortunately, we can't track down the informant," Comer replied. "We're hopeful that the informant is still there. The whistleblower knows the informant. The whistleblower is very credible."
"Hold on a second, Congressman," Bartiromo said. "Did you just say that the whistleblower or the informant is now missing?
After playing the video of Comer delivering the bad news to MAGA cultist Maria Bartiromo, Scarborough used the movie The Hunt for Red October as his starting off point to ridicule Comer.
“So, comrade, you’re telling me you’ve lost another submarine?” Scarborough said. "Come on! You lost an, you lost an informant?"
"You lost THE informant," he continued. "The guy that you claimed gave you all this information that you built this entire charade on?”
Indeed.
Whenever there's bad news coming out about Republican Party or Trump, Comer holds a press conference to attack President Biden with vague references, innuendo and hyperbolic rhetoric against the Actual President (tm) to change the day's media narrative, at least on Fox News and other right-wing outlets.
Scarborough then brought up the failures of John Durham, who Trump and Barr had appointed to investigate and uncover alleged corruption supposedly committed by the FBI. This turned into a massive embarrassment to all special consuls and investigations everywhere.
"Durham tried this, remember?" Scarborough asked. "He chased conspiracy theories to try to prove that the FBI was corrupt and rigged the 2016 election." '[Durham] made a fool of himself time and time and time again."
"And now we have lost informants, in fact, THE informant, that this entire charade was built on,” he said.
