Why Is CBS Helping To Normalize Marjorie Taylor Greene?

The segment hasn't aired yet, but 60 Minutes is already being ripped apart for doing what appears to be a fluff piece on MAGA Republican nutjob Marjorie Taylor Greene. While it's true that none of us has seen the interview yet, this doesn't bode well for what we can expect.

60 Minutes has done some great work over the years, but I don't expect this will be one of their finer moments, to put it mildly, and neither do the majority of those on the left on Twitter.

Legitimizing her and giving her a platform from which to push propaganda & dangerous disinformation is an incredibly bad idea and will only serve to further embolden her and others in the chaos conference who seek to dismantle our very democracy.
