In a teaser for Tucker Carlson’s upcoming MAGA rehab interview with Donald Trump, Carlson lobbed one of what were surely many softballs to Trump, asking him to “tell us from your perspective what [getting arrested] was like.”

Trump’s answer was even more laughable than the look on Carlson’s face as he pretended not to (still) despise Trump. “They were incredible,” Trump said. “They signed me in and I’ll tell you, people were crying. People that worked there, professionally worked there, that have no problems putting in murderers … It’s a tough, tough place. And they were crying. They were actually crying. They said, ‘I’m sorry.’”

Sure they did.

The mockery has already begun. I look forward to much, much more.

Some of those “distraught” personnel were captured by reporters' cameras:

And by the way? Trump wasn’t “signed in.” He was arrested and charged. But he’ll probably have a chance to get it right next time.
