Special Counsel Jack Smith's probe into the former President's handling of classified documents at Trump's Florida estate, Mar-a-La, appears to be amping up. During an interview with Sean Hannity last week, Trump said, "This is the presidential records act. I have the right to take stuff -- I have the right to take stuff." It's as if his interviews are confessions.
Via Fox News:
Several U.S. Secret Service agents connected to former President Trump have been subpoenaed and are expected to testify before a Washington, D.C., grand jury likely on Friday this week.
The grand jury appearances are related to Special Counsel Jack Smith's probe into the handling of classified documents at Trump's personal estate, Mar-a-Lago.
A source familiar with the probe did not give a definitive number of agents involved but confirmed the April 7 scheduled testimony.
According to Smith's team, Trump misled his attorneys about the classified documents stored at his Flordia home. Meanwhile, Trump has already departed for his trip to New York, where he will be arrested over his hush money payment to adult film star Stormy Daniels. I hear they made special tiny little handcuffs for him.
