The Chairman on the House Oversight Committee, James "I beat my college girlfriend AND paid for her abortion, allegedly" Comer told Maria Bartiromo that when the Attorney General says he staying out of the Hunter Biden investigation, that could be code for... he's deep into it.

No matter what the answer is, Republicans will twist it into what they want to hear.

During yesterday's Senate Judiciary Committee hearing, Attorney General Merrick Garland testified he is staying away from the investigation of Hunter Biden.

Earlier today on Mornings with Maria, the Fox Business host asked about the testimony since Hunter Biden is the new/old/evergreen Republican white whale.

"What's your reaction to Garland's testimony; he says he is trying to stay out of it. That's his answer, for the accusations that he's politicized this department," Bartiromo sang.

"Well, it looks to me like he's right in the middle of it," Comer said. "By the fact that he continues to say he's staying out of it."

Did you get dizzy?

"That could be -- interpreted as a code word for don't touch this, it's too hot," he said. "Any American who has a fraction of the violations of the law that Hunter Biden has would have already been indicted at the very least by now."

Rep. Comer twisted Garland's words into something altogether different. He just forgot to add some salt to his oversized pretzel.

Comer claimed there's a two-tier justice system for conservatives...and guess who Bartiromo brought up at that moment?

"That's exactly what happened with Hillary Clinton as well," Maria said. "She had all her emails in a server in her basement, and -- she there was no accountability."

Oh, noes!

Hillary Clinton did not break the law or ever commit a crime.

Republicans spent years investigating her on Benghazi and then morphed their fake investigations into her emails, and Trey Gowdy and his troupe of merry men were left with nothing.
