Georgia Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene had a grieving mother, Rebecca Kiessling, testify before the Republican-led U.S. House Committee on Homeland Security on Wednesday. Kiessling, a family law attorney and conservative activist, endured something no mother should go through. She lost both of her sons to accidental Fentanyl overdoses. Her sons Caleb, 20, and Kyler, 18, thought they were taking Percocet.

"This should not be politicized. It's not about race," she said while wiping away tears. "Fentanyl doesn't care about race. You talk about welcoming those crossing our border seeking protection? You're welcoming drug dealers across our border. You're giving them protection. You're not protecting our children."

"I don't use the term 'drug overdose' because this was not an overdose," she added. "This was murder. This is a war. Act like it. Do something."

The problem here is that Rep. Greene did politicize this tragedy. Caleb and Kyler died from accidental overdoses in 2020 when President Trump was in office, not Joe Biden.

In a tweet, the twat wrote that Kiessling's sons were murdered because of the Biden administration. In July 2020. She used the words murdered and Biden.

For her part, Kiessling did not point to President Biden as the cause of her sons' deaths.

On Tuesday, Greene also blamed Biden for other Fentanyl deaths because more has been seized under the current President's watch.

"I want you to know that in 2020, there were 4.8K pounds of Fentanyl seized by CBP. But in 2021, it increased to 11.2K pounds of Fentanyl seized by the CBP," she insisted. "That is a direct result of Biden administration failure policies."

I found my husband dead from an overdose in the bathtub in 1983. I blame Trump. We can play this game, too. Do you see how crazy that sounds, Marge?
