During President Joe Biden's State of the Union address in early February, he was called a liar for saying, "Instead of making the wealthy pay their fair share, some Republicans want Medicare and Social Security to sunset. I'm not saying it's the majority."

Controversial Georgia Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene shouted out that Biden was a "liar" at least nine times. Other Republicans groaned at Biden's remark. So, Biden got them to promise to leave Social Security and Medicare alone.

Biden wasn't lying. Republicans have been chomping at the bit to f*ck with benefits that we've paid into for decades. And now several Republicans have failed to keep their promise.

Sen. John Kennedy (R-LA) went there on Fox News Sunday. "For people who are in their 20s, their life expectancy will probably be 85 to 90," he falsely said. "Does it really make sense to allow someone who's in their 20s today to retire at 62?" Life expectancies, though, are decreasing, not increasing. So, he's lying to the American people to mess with the benefits we earned.

Via the CDC:

Life expectancy at birth in the United States declined nearly a year from 2020 to 2021, according to new provisional data from the CDC's National Center for Health Statistics (NCHS). That decline – 77.0 to 76.1 years – took U.S. life expectancy at birth to its lowest level since 1996. The 0.9 year drop in life expectancy in 2021, along with a 1.8 year drop in 2020, was the biggest two-year decline in life expectancy since 1921-1923.

South Carolina Rep. Nancy Mace went there, too.

Now, who is the 'liar'? These people make me so throat-punchy.

Let's remind them about their pledge, every time:
