Killer Kyle Rittenhouse was to appear at a CCW event in Las Vegas. However, the organizer of the event announced that Ritttenhouse has been "postponed" (read: uninvited) from the event indefinitely. However, the organizer did throw Rittenhouse a bone by blaming it on Rittenhouse's booking agent:
Nephi Khaliki, an instructor with Vegas CCW, which stands for "concealed carry weapon," said in a statement Monday he would be "postponing" Rittenhouse's appearance.
Khaliki cited an issue with Rittenhouse's booking agent "exploiting speakers from both sides of the gun control issue" as the reason for scrapping the appearance. He said Rittenhouse would not be rebooked unless the agent is fired.
Rittenhouse is represented by Premiere Speakers Bureau, which handles keynote speaking engagement booking for many celebrities, business leaders, and public figures.
The gist of a press release issued by Khaliki was that Killer Kyle's message was not a good fit with what they were trying to teach to prepare people for their CCW permits, and blamed it on greedy businessmen who "fan the flames of conflict to bolster the value of their clients."
I've got news for them. It's not the booking agent. That's who Killer Kyle really is. He's been all over social media trying to monetize the sudden fame he found with right wing gun nuts. What good is gunning down people in cold blood if you can't make a buck or two, amirite?
It's a guaranteed thing that, if he hasn't already, it won't be long before Killer Kyle uses this cancellation to try to milk a few more bucks from the gullible.
