Fox & Friends fill-in co-host Lawrence Jones and Ainsley Earhardt tried to elicit fear among Fox News viewers when they discussed the failure of Silicon Valley Bank.
After opening their show by discussing Silicon Valley Bank's failure, co-host Brian Kilmeade discussed a Wall Street Journal (ALSO owned by Rupert Murdoch, but Brian never says so, see: New York Post) article trying to calm the waters.
"So, to take it easy today and don't let this ripple through the economy," Kilmeade said.
"I understand not ensuing panic, but I think it's time, to be honest with the American people at the same time," Jones said.
"We need to go to our banks and take our money out," Earhardt said morosely.
"Well, I think if you're above that $250,000 mark," Jones replied.
"That's not insured," she said.
Jones then continued foisting panic on their viewers by discussing Etsy' issues.
"True indeed, this is Etsy, but it's a marketplace of other small business owners. I think that's the real problem," Jones said.
It's irresponsible and unconscionable that Fox News would have these talking heads discuss pulling out your money from banks.
If a Republican were in the Oval Office, Fox & Friends would be begging viewers not to panic.
