FOX Business host Stuart Varney was thoroughly beside himself when he told his viewers what the January jobs report entailed.
"A big shock, 517,000 new jobs in the economy in January." Varney marveled. "The jobless rate another shock, it went down to 3.4% --Now look, this is a very strong jobs report."
"Extraordinary stuff," he exclaimed.
As usual, FOX Business right-wingers tried to downplay the effect of the strong jobs report, but they did admit it was good news for President Biden, although they worried it would hurt Wall Street.
Karoli adds: How is it bad for Wall Street? They can't smack down the employees in this market. Just as the real estate market was a seller's market until just recently, the job market is an employee's market. Inflation is being held in check (it's come down nearly 8 points) and the economy is thriving, so there are fewer opportunities for Wall Streeters to exploit the little guys. But have no fear, they'll think of some.
