By now you've heard all about Chrissy Teigen's PAB tweet read into the official Congressional record.
Anika Collier Navaroli, a whistleblower formerly with Twitter was asked about a tweet that Trump wanted Twitter to take down, a blatant act violating the First amendment.
When Rep, Frost asked Navaroli discuss the tweet, she responded by reading the tweet into the record.
"Would you like me to give the direct quote?" she asked. "Yeah," Frost replied.
"Please excuse my language. This is a direct quote but Chrissy Teigen referred to Donald Trump as a "p*ssy ass bitch," Collier Navaroli said.
Booyah! Here is the original tweet, which yeah, is still up at Twitter.
But wait, there's more. This was supposed to be a Hunter Biden takedown committee. Instead?
As usual Trump can dish it out, but can't take it. As Dean Obeidallah noted at MSNBC.com:
While the government asking to silence those they disagree with is unconstitutional, it’s consistent with Trump. This is a man who repeatedly demanded "Saturday Night Live" be canceled and even investigated the FCC for mocking him. Do you think the GOP will hold hearings on Trump’s war on comedy? (That’s a rhetorical question, of course.)
Chairman Jim Jordan thought he was running a Fox News propaganda show. He forgot that (a) Democrats would have equal time and come equipped to deal with the BS, (b) that Twitter execs would be under oath, and (c) that the Fox News "personalities" there to spout propaganda would be subject to cross-examination. Hello, Jonathan Turley!
Even CNN said "Republicans are living in a reality distortion field."
By the way, Teigen's response to the hearing was awesome.
