I found a laptop the House Republicans and FOX News should be looking into, and shocker, it does not belong to Hunter Biden. No, it belongs to an aide of retiree and part time golfer in Florida, Donald Trump. News broke late Friday about even MORE classified documents being found at Mar-A-Lago in mid-January (how these were not found by the FBI search is a question I have), but the REAL issue is that an aide to Trump had electronic copies of classified documents on a laptop that was not located at Mar-A-Lago or in a secure facility. There is also mention of a thumbdrive containing classified documents. This means the classified documents were not only improperly secured by Trump, but they were scanned, saved and removed from a secure facility and could have been electronically transmitted to ANYONE at anytime.

Has the GOP, Tucker Carlson and the entire right wing echosphere started screaming from the rooftops about this aide being hauled in front of a House Committee to explain what happened, why he had these documents, who he sent them to, etc? I have not heard anything from the GOP. Or FOX.

In addition the the laptop, Trump's lawyer turned over a folder with classified markings that was found in mid-January at Mar-A-Lago. Additionally, one more classified document was found. The document and folder were found in a box on Mar-A-Lago property and not in the "secure" storage facility. Whoops.

Federal agents did take possession of the laptop and it is quite probable that a forensic examination of everything on that computer is being conducted, as well as a review or emails sent and received. This news comes just after a hearing where investigators wanted the Court to hold Trump in contempt for not turning over all classified materials. The Judge did not follow that request, instead urging the two sides to resolve the dispute themselves. Who knows what will happen now.
