Newsmax's Greg Kelly interviewed long Island fabulist George Santos, and to the host's credit, he held the New York Republican's feet to the fire. That was something I did not expect. Kelly asked Santos where the mysterious $700,000 in campaign money came from, and it got interesting.
"I can attest that the total of the money was all legitimate money obtained through my legal practices with my company," George insisted. "Devolder Organization was founded in 2001 when I stepped away from my previous employment."
OK, that's a problem unless we are expected to believe that George founded his organization when he was around 12 years old. George is 34. Allegedly. Google tells me that George's company was founded in 2021. And that's weird, too, because new businesses don't usually start making that kind of money in their infancy.
George also said he "wanted to represent people who are just like me - simple-minded folks."
He just called himself stupid. Well, OK then.
He seems to feel that he has a good reason to lie.
George has never come clean, as he claims, and he's never asked for forgiveness, and yet, he feels he should be forgiven.
What a weird dude. What's left? Are we going to find out that he stole puppies? Oh, wait.
