On the heels of a sexual assault lawsuit being filed by a male staffer from Herschel Walker's campaign, the conservative husband and wife team joined Newsmax to explain how their marriage has flourished for over twenty years.

The Newsmax host began this way: "The two of you work together. You've been married for 20 years. I think a lot of people are wondering, what's the secret?" she asked.

The two giggled, trying to appear like an idyllic couple from the 1950s.

"The advice we give our daughters is that person who you marry is the most important decision you'll make in your life," Mercedes replied.

I doubt many Newsmax viewers are even aware of the charges and lawsuit being brought against Matt Schlapp, since MAGA media censor any and all "bad news."

I would say it's painful to see a wife make believe her marriage is like a holy covenant in heaven, but Mercedes knows what's what, and as the saying goes, she's made her bed.
