Fox News host Tucker Carlson claimed Carl Bernstein, who partnered with Bob Woodward to expose Watergate, were part of a secret operation to oust Nixon from office by the FBI.
Fox is really desperate to distract it's audience from finding out what a tax cheat Donald Trump is, and particularly that Trump LIED TO THEM about being under audit. That's the only explanation for this nonsense.
Carlson played a video montage of Trump critics after the raid at Mar-A-Lago, where hundreds of classified and top secret documents were found.
Carlson cackled when the montage ended.
"The funniest part was Bernstein, formerly of the Washington Post, who literally participated in an FBI operation; not guessing, documented, an FBI operation to drive a sitting, duly elected president from office," Carlson said. "Carl Bernstein participated in that."
The gaslighting that is taking place to defend Trump is truly remarkable. Soon the Pentagon Papers will be considered an "FBI deep state operation" too.
