A Brazilian drag performer, Eula Rochard, and others claim that Republican Rep. George Santos performed at drag shows. And Eula gave me the receipts in the form of newspaper clippings and a video when we chatted via WhatsApp and Messenger.
The clip above is from a YouTube posted eight years ago.
George's drag name was allegedly Kitara Ravache. MSNBC journalist Marisa Kabas also spoke with Eula to confirm the news. But George denies any of this is true even though there is evidence to the contrary.
George said the "outrageous claims" are "categorically false."
Twitter users are having a hard time believing the serial liar.
This would be funny if his party weren't targeting drag performers. It would be funny if it weren't revealed that he stole from a dying service dog's GoFundMe page. It would be funny if he weren't wanted by the authorities in Brazil and if he hadn't stolen from his friends and lied to his constituents and this country.
And what did Republicans do about all of this? They rewarded him with two committee seats.
