Ohio Representative and blind-to-wrestler-sexual-harassment Jim Jordan ranted to Sean Hannity about all the things he hates about Apple.
It appears he may lead an "investigation" on their practices, at the behest (of course) of Elon Musk.
Jordan rambled about China and then made believe it's his job as a US Congressman to decide where corporations spend their advertising dollars.
"Why is Apple no longer advertising on Twitter?" Jordan asked. "Or pulling back some of their ads, have they gone woke?"
By the way, the Fox News chyron disputes Jordan's claims in real time about Apple ad dollars, but why interrupt Jordan's rant, right, Fox News?
What business is it of Congressional Republicans where private companies advertise? Republicans like Jordan never take the time to investigate allegations made by people they feel will help them promote MAGA propaganda.
Since Musk said Apple told him they would pull ads, Jim Jordan takes that as sacrosanct.
Gizmodo reports that actually Apple has continued to buy advertising on Twitter.
As usual, Jim Jordan rewrites the First Amendment to meet his political needs.
"The left is at war with the First Amendment. The left doesn't want the First Amendment anymore,' Jordan claimed.
Advertising revenue from Apple is not a constitutional right, Jim. The First Amendment protects the rights of the Free Press and individuals against government oppression. It does not apply to private corporations or companies refusing to financially support the distribution of misinformation, bigotry, and lies.
Musk quickly adopted Trump's antics by using his Republican operatives to punish and attack companies that are fed up and frustrated with his off-the-wall "management" at Twitter.
