Controversial Georgia Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene made some jaw-dropping remarks Saturday evening at an event hosted by the New York Young Republicans Club in New York City. The place had some dubious characters in attendance, to say the least.
Patriot Takes on Twitter posted some of Marge's moronic remarks, including her thoughts on school shooters.
“Young people, usually young white men, will pick up a gun and shoot up their school," Rep. Big Brain said. "How did these things come to be here in the United States of America?” …[Teachers] are grooming children to hate.”
Georgia is the 6th most pro-gun state in the country. Gun traffickers get around gun safety laws by buying firearms from gun-friendly states, then moving them to places like Chicago, etc., to sell them. Wash, rinse, repeat. But to Republicans, it's never the fault of the push to saturate the U.S. with guns.
And Marge took it to another level. It's the teachers' fault -- the very people that aren't paid enough but go to work every day because they love their jobs and feel a sense of duty to educate our youth.
Marge shouldn't even be able to buy a gun legally after she suggested that the January 6 riot would have been successful if she had been in charge, adding that "we would have been armed."
