Conservatives descended on Saturday in Phoenix, Arizona, for a four-day Turning Point USA AmericaFest conference. Former President Donald Trump's support appears to be waning, so it's interesting that his son, Don Jr., offered some remarks. Of course, it was all about him. And honestly, I'm not sure what he's talking about in parts of the clip.
Unsurprisingly, Junior launched a conspiracy theory amid the fake outrage from the right, feigning outrage social media is trying to silence them.
"The content was good," he said of his social media posts. "It was me they were trying to cancel." He then claimed that he is very good at articulating a point, so he claimed that they (I don't know who 'they' are) prop up accounts that are run by lunatics to drown out the more reasonable accounts.
(I don't know why, but he makes me all throat-punchy.)
And, of course, he said this in front of a crowd of people, and he has a massive following on Twitter, but sure, he's being silenced.
On Saturday, Kyle Rittenhouse also claimed that conservatives are being censored. He said that on TV while holding a mic -- while not being censored. I'm starting to see a pattern here.
