House Minority Leader-elect Hakeem Jeffries (D-N.Y.) tore into Republicans on Wednesday and didn't pull any punches.
"And look at what is happening right now. Look at what's happening right now. House Republicans are attacking Senate Republicans. Senate Republicans are calling House Republicans silly and immature," Jeffries said.
"The leadership situation is in chaos," Jeffries continued.
"Marjorie Taylor Greene is fighting with Lauren Boebert. And George Santos appears to be starring in the sequel to Catch Me If You Can," Jeffries said over allegations that the Congressman-elect's entire history appears to be fabricated.
"And it's not even January 3rd," he added. "The circus has already come to town. Chaos, crisis. Confusion and craziness. Versus Democrats who deliver for the American people."
Controversial Reps. Marjorie Taylor Greene and Lauren Boebert are in a slap fight over who should be Speaker of the House. If they can't even agree on that without making a spectacle of themselves, they can't represent their districts well. I'll stick with the party that gets shit done.
