One of the most bitter and petty people wanting to insert themselves into politics is Donald Trump Jr. He's not a politician. Still, he misses getting the attention he got when his corrupt father was in office. But that's it. He offers nothing. I would say he's of little value, but I can't even find anything to say, "Well, at least he's good at this one thing." Nothing.
Donald Trump Jr. mocked Democratic senate candidate John Fetterman at his father's "Save America" rally in Miami, Florida, over his recent stroke, saying he doesn't have "a working brain."
"I believe that if you're going to be in the United States senator, you should have basic cognitive function," he told the crowd. "It doesn't seem that unreasonable — to have a working brain."
"We're up against a Democrat (SIC) party today that doesn't believe that a United States senator should not have mush for brain."
Oh, that's adorable coming from the son of the guy that bragged about remembering the words: "Person, woman, man, camera, TV." And Donald Trump didn't have a stroke. He's just a dumb motherfucker who keeps insisting that he won a race that he lost 734 days ago.
With a mentally ill candidate like Herschel Walker with an extremely dubious and violent history running for the Senate in Georgia, Junior's argument sounds pretty desperate. Fetterman had a stroke. He did not hold a gun to his wife's head repeatedly. Fetterman didn't lie about how many children he has, and he has not been caught funding abortions for his ex-girlfriends. And he has never impersonated a police officer. Fetterman has never played Russian Roulette, but the Republican candidate in Georgia did.
According to Fetterman's physician last month, the Democratic candidate was recovering well and could carry out public office. There is no note for Donald Trump Jr. or his father, who seems to suffer from a raging narcissistic disorder. And that's probably because there is no cure for that. Fetterman will be fine, but Junior and his father will always be incurable trash. I think it's a good sign that the MAGA crowd looked bored for a change instead of devouring the red ableist meat that Junior was throwing them.
It wasn't that long ago that Republicans had platforms running against political correctness. Conservatives just wanted to demean others without consequences, and here we are. Junior was trying to sic his bored audience onto a man that's recovering from a stroke, just as conservatives piled onto Paul Pelosi for being the 82-year-old victim of a hammer attack. They won. Yay for them. Let's take this power back from them. Get out and vote.
