Jenna Ellis, who illegally tried to overthrow the government for Trump, now ridiculously is claiming Justice Ketanji Jackson Brown is trying "to elevate Black people as a race."

Tucker Carlson would be proud.

Ellis, who wrote a book arguing that the U.S. Constitution must be interpreted in accordance with the Bible, now calls herself a constitutional scholar. What kind of scholar tries to usurp the Constitution in service to a narcissistic autocrat?

In actuality, Jenna Ellis is a racist Christian nationalist with a fetish for fascism.

During oral arguments Justice Jackson argued with Alabama's solicitor General "in a case challenging Section 2 of the Voting Rights Act, which bars racial discrimination in voting policies."

Here is the part which has MAGA crying.

She said the framers themselves adopted the Equal Protection Clause “in a race-conscious way.” “The entire point of the amendment was to secure rights of the freed former slaves,” Jackson said.

Enter psycho Ellis.

"It's revisionist originalism. She's trying to go back in history and say that just because the 14th amendment was ratified in as she describes it 'a race conscious way' for the purpose of in the Reconstruction era after the Civil War, making sure that all of the newly freedmen had citizenship, had rights that were protected just like everyone else, that now because of that, the Constitution permits race based discrimination against all other races besides black people," Ellis said.

"So instead of creating equal protection for everyone, she's now trying to elevate black people as a race and say that the Constitution permits specific race-based discrimination,"she said.

It's not elevating, it's an attempt to level the playing field. Allowing red states to gerrymander and exclude access to voting rights for Blacks is racism at its ugliest core.

Ellis then tried to equate the 14th amendment dealing specifically with racism against Black people with the 19th amendment, giving the woman the right to vote which is a farcical comparison.

But MAGA is farcical.

Ellis then trotted out the usual MAGA attack line on Justice Jackson about gender, defining what a woman is.

MAGA world is fit to be tied over Justice Jackson's argument, because she used their precious originalism to blast Alabama's racist gerrymandering straight out of the water. It's glorious to see them done their robes and hoods in front of everyone.
