Republican minority leader Kevin McCarthy retold his phony lie to Laura Ingraham that teachers and children can suffer drug overdoses by merely touching fentanyl-type pills.
On Wednesdays Ingraham Angle, McCarthy once again promoted his lying lie.
"I want to tell you a story that happened in my hometown just last week. A thirteen year-old brought 150 pills of Fentanyl, disguised as something else. This is in junior high, a counselor finds it. As a police officer is going there, they have to call paramedics because the counselor didn't take a pill they started to OD because it was absorbed..."
McCarthy is lying when he says if you just touch pills it will immediately be absorbed into your skin, causing an overdose.
That's as Bill Barr says,"A crock of sh*t."
Ja'han Jones writes, "The problem here is that claims that people can suffer overdoses or serious health defects merely by coming in contact with fentanyl have been debunked time and again. Typically, we find police departments telling these fentanyl-related lies, but McCarthy has gotten in on the act in recent interviews with some of Fox News’ most vocal opponents of immigration."
The opioid crisis spiked under Trump's reign, and was aided by Rudy Giuliani's defense of the Sackler family but sure, make up new myths about drugs to attack Biden.
There is no bottom to Republican lies.
