Apps like Ring, Next door and Citizen are supposed to bring communities together, but in reality they do the opposite. Fortunately, I never started an account with any of these apps, mostly because I know what most of my neighbors are like in real life. I don't want to have to deal with them on social media too.

Besides, if I wanted to see how shitty people can be, there's always the community pages on Facebook.
