While I am but a lowly blogger, I do appreciate the fact that I get to have integrity in my job. RNC director Ronna Romney McDaniel, on the other hand, has to clench her teeth and smile as she cleans up Trump's latest droppings.
On CNN today, Alysin Camerota asked her about the new Washington Post story in which Trump asked FBI acting director Andrew McCabe who he voted for.
"Do you think President Trump should have asked the acting FBI director Andrew McCabe who he voted for in 2016?"
"I know this is a big story. I think it's just a conversation," Romney McDaniel said. "I don't think it intends, you know, all of these terrible things that people are trying to put forward. I think it is just trying to get to know somebody," she said.
"Yeah, but was it inappropriate?" Camerota said.
"I don't know, I ask people who they vote for sometimes," she said. "I think it's just trying to get to know somebody. I don't think the intentions are as bad as are being put out."
"You don't think it's that President Trump thinks if anybody voted for a Democrat they cannot do their jobs?" a skeptical Camerota said.
"I don't think so. He is not going around to every single FBI agent and saying, 'Did you vote for me?" Romney McDaniel said.
Are you sure, Ronna?
Would you bet your life on it?
