Irony Is Dead: Laura Ingraham Advises GOP To End 'Politics Of Anger'

What a difference a Tuesday makes.

After the smashing Republicans took in the Virginia elections (also the rest of the country by the way) Laura Ingraham took to her new Fox show to suggest that the Republican Party show their softer side. No, really. Fox News Insider:

"I think they've gone about as far as they can go with the politics of anger," Ingraham said.

She explained that Republicans want to see a happier, calmer electorate for the 2018 midterms.

"The president and GOP, however, they must work together and they've got to start racking up legislative victories to show voters - even those who usually don't vote for Republicans - that conservative, populist policies are improving their lives," Ingraham said.

By taking away their health insurance?
Raising their taxes?
Preventing them from getting reproductive care?
Poisoning the earth?

Or just embarrassing them to death?

Tillerson is resorting to the “Trump is just joking” rationale re his boss’s embarrassing remarks about China: “Tongue in cheek.” 🙄

Ingraham occasionally gets points for calling out Trump on one thing or another, but this soothing message of peace and positivity (yeah) comes from a person who would have no career in media at all without Clinton hate and vicious anti-immigrant rhetoric. Just looking her up at C&L alone yields plenty:

PS It's adorable that Fox News Insider says "Republicans want to see a happier, calmer electorate for the 2018 midterms." As if they pick their own voters -- oh wait -- nevermind --
they do. #gerrymandering

And if the Fox News Bubble residents stick to Laura Ingraham, they'll be as angry or calm as she wants them to be today.
