Today marks the 2nd anniversary that I was handed keys to the Late Nite Music Club. At that time we had a trustworthy leader in the president's office and we all went to bed at night not worrying what type of insanity he would spew on social media by the time we woke up.
Now, we have one that could possibly have us entering a war at any given second via a hotheaded tweet and the need for deflection.
It's time for a protest song today. Yes, this is the same Bob Seger who is best known as a king of Dad Rock. This goes back to when he was an angry young man.
Interesting sidenote about this song is that fellow Michigan musician kinda cribbed the bassline from this song for the White Stripes "Seven Nations Army" in tribute to ol' Robert.
What are you listening to tonight?
