On his show Thursday evening Tucker Carlson told the Brady Campaign's co-president to "be real" because to the pros, automatic weapons aren't accurate. So if the Las Vegas shooter didn't use a bump stock, "many more would've died."

In the world of conservative absurdity, this statement by Carlson truly is bizarre.

Avery Gardiner of the Brady Campaign went on to debate the Fox News whiney TV host and he acted like a pissant immediately.

Carlson opened up the segment by telling his viewers that the Brady Campaign tried to get the second amendment overturned and asked Avery if she believed "Americans have a constitutional right to own firearms?"

She replied that all Americans who are law-abiding and safe should be able to have guns in America.

Then Carlson asked her what she was proposing to have stopped the Las Vegas shooting.

Tucker knows the FBI is still, to our knowledge, struggling to understand why this man went on a rampage, so she couldn't possibly have an answer to his question.

She said that Americans by 90% want our nation to improve background checks.

Tucker dismissed that idea and said, "I don't want to do a segment on polling. I want to do a segment on what happened, the tragedy..."

When she said we don't know all the facts yet, he said we know a lot of facts. See, conjecture is easy to manipulate.

"So what would prevent this?"

Gardiner replied, "It appears that the shooter used these bump stocks. What those do is turn another kind of a weapon into the functional equivalent of a machine gun. If we had regulation, if we had stricter control of those bump stocks, maybe fewer people would've died."

Carlson glibly replied, "Maybe more would have died actually.."

He continued, "Because if you talk to people who know a lot about guns they say pros don't even fire on fully automatic because you can't hit anything - "

Stephen Paddock didn't turn his semi into a machine gun to be more accurate, but to reign down as many bullets as possible into a crowd of 22,000 people.

Is Stephen Paddock considered a professional marksman now?

Tucker said, "I’m not defending bump stocks, I’m just saying, let’s be real."

Real. Real. Real?

With so many innocent people focused on watching a country music concert, he didn't need accuracy because he couldn't miss his target - he needed speed and volume of rounds to do as much horrific damage as possible.

Let's be real, Tucker. Since almost sixty people were murdered and almost five hundred were wounded I'd say he was very successful at his mission, you "f**king moron."

And you're the only a-hole on TV -- as far as I know -- that praised the bump stock for saving lives.

You truly are a horrible person.
