Sarah Huckabee Sanders continues to degrade our country by pushing clear, unambiguous and blatant lies from the sacred podium of the White House. Her ability to lie is so skilled, so incredibly fluid, that you can barely see her forked tongue dart out of her mouth between smirks and false eyelash flutters. Yes, she is a trained and nuanced spewer of falsehoods.

Today, she continued to dig in to Bob Corker after Trump counter punched on Twitter after Corker gave a very frank and scathing interview.

So, during today's press briefing, CNN's Jeff Zeleny got into it with Sarah Huckelberry Sanders over the White House lies that Corker supported and pushed for the Iran nuclear deal. (Narrator: This is a lie).

Here is the exchange:

Zeleny: What is the White House and the President* specifically continue to say that Senator Bob Corker helped President Obama on the Iran deal when the facts clearly say that's not true?

Sanders: Actually, the facts do say that it's true. It was Senator Corker who wrote the legislation that legitimatized the Iran nuclear deal, despite lacking the votes to ratify the flawed Iran deal as a treaty in the senate. Corker's bill rolled out the red carpet for the Obama administration, gaining congressional approval without the necessary votes. May not have voted for it, but he certainly helped make it happen.

Zeleny: But he didn't vote for it.

Sanders: He helped to allow it to take place.

Zeleny: If you look through --

Sanders: As I've said many times before I wouldn't use the "Washington Post" as my source, Jeff. I know better than that.

Zeleny: The White House clearly is not telling the truth on this. Why does the president continue to say that he helped President Obama with it? It's not true. He voted against it, though, Sarah.

Sanders: He voted against it, but he allowed it to happen. he put it in motion, rolled out the red carpet and made it possible for it to move forward. that is a fact and that is true. Jeff?

The problem? This is all a lie. A blatant lie. And CNN actually fact checks this entire thing. One of their strongest statements? Corker actually lobbied to BLOCK the Iran deal from passing, voted against it and called for a congressional review.

So yeah, Sarah lied. But really, she lied on behalf of Trump. She pushed a blatant lie from the podium of the White House, degrading the office of the President, insulting the American people and perverting our entire democracy.

She is doing exactly what Trump (and Putin) want.
