Wait until you read about this Arizona Republican who until recently was the head of the Arizona Department of Economic Security.

Timothy Jeffries allegedly did the following:

• Engaged in mass firings at DES, calling managers he didn't like "bullies" and encouraging other people in his department to "exit" staff that didn't toe his line.
• Fired those employees only after "persuading" them to relinquish their state job protections.
• Created a 'no-hire list' to keep his enemies from getting other state jobs.
• Held a staff party at which Jeffries used state money to pay for alcohol for employees, allegedly during work hours.
• Gave a no-bid consulting contract to a personal friend without review.

AZ Central adds:

Critics also said Jeffries pushed the limits by having his public-relations staff produce "mojo" videos of him that he sent frequently via email to DES employees, whose computers were programmed to not function until the entire video was watched, according to DES employees and a contractor who said he programmed the video player. He also sent out emails to DES staff that promoted his faith and political views.

And then... there's the GUNS AND AMMO:

State troopers confiscated about 50 handguns and 80,000 rounds of ammunition stored in the Arizona Department of Economic Security's basement shortly after Director Tim Jeffries — who had expanded the agency's armed police force — was forced to resign and escorted from the building...

Also ejected from their jobs and the building were three of Jeffries's managers, all of whom had state-purchased semiautomatic handguns.

Jeffries claims his use of state funds to purchase guns and arm a personal police force for his office -- which, by the way, is also the welfare and food stamp office -- was inspired by the attack on a social service agency in San Bernadino, and that he, Jeffries, was well within his rights to take it into his own hands to protect his office from "jihadists."

And finally, the Governor had to protect his office from him.

The state of Arizona is lucky they ejected this guy from office (and disarmed him and his team) before a tragedy occurred.

I didn't mention what political party Jeffries belongs to because I don't have to, do I? Both sides don't.

PS. The Governor has opened a hotline for employees fired by Jeffries to appeal to have their jobs back. The Office of Administration reported that since 4pm Monday they have received SEVENTY ONE phone calls from people fired by Jeffries.
