Everyone shed exactly no tears for Mike Cernovich and his merry band of deplorables, who are very, very upset that a Virginia nightclub will not provide them with a safe space for a hate-and-celebrate festival on Inauguration Day.
According to NBC News, the Clarendon Ballroom has refused to rent their facilities to Cernovich and friends for a night of revelry and war stories.
They tried to sneak the event in through the back door, by first selling 500 tickets before securing the venue, and then presenting themselves to the owners as representing a group called Citizens4Trump. Although the ballroom owners did send a proposal over, no contract was signed.
For his part, Cernovich is whining that the mean, nasty Hillary people threatened them with reprisals, should they allow the event to go forward. Sure they did.
Cernovich posted a Twitter whine about it, prompting threats to the operations director, Adrianne Freshman.
Since Clarendon Ballroom said they would not host DeploraBall, they say they have been overwhelmed by threats.
"I have literally spent my entire day blocking people and deleting hundreds of slanderous, dangerous, vulgar and threatening posts and tweets, answering threatening phone calls and watching my first ever Twitter War," Freshman wrote.
Freshman said Clarendon Ballroom contacted Arlington County police.
If they really want to hold a "DeploraBall," I'm sure someone has a barn and some white robes they could lend. Just ask around, Cernovich, and quit whining to your WATB friends on Twitter.
