It's always interesting hearing somebody in the media doing their best to spin a story so people can fell more sympathy towards the protagonist of their tale.
Joe Scarborough makes the case that, Donald Trump, who ran the most odious candidacy of any presidential election, which was based on lies, smears, vile innuendo and conspiracy theories suddenly was the one being vilified all this time. Who knew?
Responding to the protests that broke out over the election of Trump, the MSNBC host said, "I'm saying that Donald Trump, Mika, has been attacked more from more sides, I think, than any other president in US history because he didn't have a home team."
He continued, "Republicans were attacking him, conservatives were attacking him. The ones that would usually defend him. Democrats were attacking him. Media was attacking him. He had Sean Hannity and Breitbart and whatever else versus the world."

It was unusual to say the least that many establishment Republicans objected to Donald Trump candidacy as did so many Americans, but many objections were based on the behavior and past and present history that makes up Trump.
The media reported on his actions and didn't make up ghost stories.
Trump not only had Sean and Breitbart, but had the entirety of Fox News, AM talk radio, the entire religious right community and their media outlets, Wikileaks, foreign hackers, Russia and the FBI, just to name a few that helped him win the election.
Hillary has been attacked for over twenty continuous years and the media did everything they could to hype right wing conspiracies about the Clinton Foundation, Benghazi and her server.
Trump and his surrogates acted more like Vlad the Impaler, than political pundits.
Plus, because the media aired almost every single Trump rally during prime time hours, including Joe's home MSNBC, Donald received more free air time than any candidate in the history of politics, Joe.
Never forget that the most consistently broadcast image of the 2016 election cycle was an empty Trump podium, as the ratings-hungry cable news networks awaited King Donald's arrival.
Please stop the whining about Donald.
