ABC's Katherine Faulders noticed that president-elect Donald Trump sent out his infamous flag burning tweet soon after a segment on a flag burning incident from Hampshire College appeared on Fox and Friends.

Soon after on Fox News' America's Newsroom, Bill Hemmer hosted a segment of the removal of the American flag and was joined by Domenic Sarno, the mayor of Springfield, Mass.
Sarno believes the flag should be returned.
Following the presidential election, the flag was lowered to half-staff in "reaction to the toxic tone of the months-long election," according to a statement from the college. The flag was later removed and burned, and the decision was made to not have a flag at all.
"Some have perceived the action of lowering the flag as a commentary on the results of the presidential election. This, unequivocally, was not our intent," Hampshire College President Jonathan Lash said in a statement.
Fox and Friends was Trump's safe haven for most of the election campaign and he's made no attempt to hide how much he watches and reacts to cable TV news.
It's not a stretch to say the president-elect is now basing policy on Fox News programing.
