Into her second straight shift as Donald Trump's point man on CNN for Trump's 2005 comments, Scottie Nell Hughes let another one fly that left the other guests shaking their heads in disbelief.
First, Maria Cardona called Trump "an irredeemable pervert and sexual predator." A visibly miffed Hughes responded:
“To Tara’s point, this is all about the female vote,” Hughes conceded. “While it’s wrong, it is a distraction. This morning, no woman woke up affected by these words. What they were affected by –”
“Are you kidding me?” a stunned Cardonna blurted, before smirking and adding, “Wow.”
Cardona also said Hughes was living in a fantasy world, and not doing her candidate any favors.
Even the CNN host seemed a bit stunned, saying "I would argue there were more than women affected by those words."
