The Doocy in the Box wanted the skinny on the Congressional GOP conference call regarding some possibly wavering support for Donald Trump. Who better to ask than the goofiest bastard in Congress, Louis Gohmert, Texas Republican and nuttiest individual to serve in the House. He has an interesting excuse for Trump's language and knows now that it's okay because he's a Republican and a Christian!
Doocy asked what transpired in the call where Ryan explained he would no longer defend Trump. Gohmert quickly discussed he didn't agree with Ryan and moved on to his own agenda.
GOHMERT: What happened was the leaders so called of our party in the House made a bunch of statements telling us what they thought and as appropriately, they listened to what twelve people thought, and eleven out of twelve, I was one of the twelve of course, I know it shocks you that I'd speak, feel that our fortunes rise and fall with what happens in the Presidential Election...
In this Congress, we have been lied to, crimes have been committed in front of and against Congress and what have we done? Nothing!
'Donald Trump said some vile things, back when he was friends with Bill Clinton and when you're Bill Clinton's big buddy like he was at one time, you're going to talk like Bill Clinton.
and I think we should forgive him for talking like big Democrats like Clinton and other foul mouth people. Now he's a Republican and James Dobson says he's a Christian.
Steve Doocy was impressed that the House is still supporting Trump en masse.
DOOCY: Out of eleven guys, just one defection from the Trump Train?
GOHMERT: It was eleven really stout people. He (Trump) helped Reagan get elected... it's all in or it's nothing.
I'm going with nothing here.
I guess the actions of a Democratic President in the mid 1990's can cause spontaneous profanity outbursts a decade later from a guy who will convert to the GOP to win the W.H., and thus will be forgiven. Now we understand.
Nothing to see here. Move along.
