The scourge of Fox and Friends Weekend, Tucker Carlson, based his entire interview with right-wing hate radio host, David Webb on the fallacy that Hillary Clinton plans to repeal the Second Amendment, because fear is all Republicans have these days. Poor Tucker can't grasp that implementing common sense gun control measures does not mean anyone is repealing the Second Amendment.
In his usual smug and dishonest fashion, Carlson begins by saying:
Former Wisconsin Senator Russ Feingold telling the truth about Hillary Clinton's strategy to take guns out of your hands, law-abiding America. Watch this.
Carlson then introduces a clip created by the criminally duplicitous cosplayer, James O'Keefe. He played dress-up again at a fundraiser in Palo Alto, California for Wisconsin Senate Candidate Russ Feingold.
O'KEEFE: If there's still a Republican-controlled Congress and if Hillary is elected, is there anything she can do to uhhh....
FEINGOLD: There might be an Executive Order.
Tucker interprets this as an insidious Hillary Clinton plot to eliminate the amendment which was originally designed to appease slaveholders from southern Colonial states. Nowhere do we hear anything about the Second Amendment. Feingold was referring to sensible gun control tactics like background checks, the Gun Show Loophole and minimizing the number of bullets in a clip. He never mentions anything about taking guns from law-abiding Americans.
Playing right along with Carlson's false premise, David Webb agrees that Republicans and Democrats in Congress won't let anything change the pro-ammosexual laws that currently exist, but a future U.S. President has other wily ways to get your guns.
WEBB: What have they (Democrats) done in the all these jurisdictions around America? Democrats find ways to impede or hinder your right to bear arms, your Second Amendment rights to buy arms. They find every which way to get in your way, they create safe zones or fake safe zones.
The American people have decided that we're going to stick with our Constitution and that has got to seriously anger Hillary Clinton.
Hillary Clinton has yet to even hint at a desire to radically change the Constitution, yet any laws that might save lives and make guns safer are kryptonite to any Republican.
There isn't a single policy proposal that would rescind gun ownership privileges from law-abiding Americans, but reality and facts are irrelevant to these two hacks. Tucker is especially upset over the idea of allowing lawsuits against his pals, gun manufacturers.
CARLSON: If you can find one piece of social science that suggests that suing gun manufacturers will make America safer, I'd love to see it.
WEBB: Here's my simple question: How does removing guns and the right to bear arms from law-abiding citizens reduce the criminals' desires actually get and use a gun? It makes no sense but they're determined.
Nobody is more determined to willfully deceive their voters than Republicans like David Webb and Tucker Carlson. These swindlers are relying on evidence gathered by convicted scam artist, James O'Keefe, and still, they have to insert their own words? Pathetic.
I wish they'd explain how other nations who limit gun ownership have drastically lower rates of gun homicides. They never can or will do that.
