On HBO's Real Time with Bill Maher, the host made a concerted effort to knock down the false equivalency narrative, the media and lazy people love to promote between Hillary Clinton and Donald Trump.

On C&L, we write quite a bit about the problem false equivalency so I'm glad Maher tackled it head on.

Maher started off by using Politifact statistics to expose what a liar Trump is and said, "Hillary Clinton says something at least somewhat false 27 % of the time. You know who's at 28%, Bernie, the ultimate straight shooter."

He continued. "27% is pretty good for a politician. Trump is at 71%. His pants are a raging wildfire that cannot be contained."

Bill called out Colin Kaepernick for calling HRC, "evil."

“I am so tired of hearing, Trump is such a creep, but Hillary doesn’t seem genuine. Grow the fuck up. she's a civil servant, not a craft beer."

Maher then targeted his close friends, the Millennials.

"Republicans have one path to victory and it's called false equivalency. They can't deny Trump is horrible, it's on tape. They want voters to think Hillary is just as bad - they have a very powerful ally, lazy people."

Bill used a Noam Chomsky analogy which showed that people know a lot of facts when it comes to sports, but refuse to take the time to study domestic policy even a tiny bit.

"We just apply our brain power to bullsh*t."
