CNN played a short clip from Donald Trump's upcoming appearance on Dr. Oz (later today) and as expected, it turned out to be a mere publicity stunt. Apparently, there is a reality show constituency stupid enough to buy that by handing a sheet of paper to Dr. Oz, Donald Trump has revealed his entire medical records to America.
In the segment, Trump tells Doctor Oz that he has his medical records with him and asks the audience if he should reveal them.
Dr. Oz asks, "Why not show your medical records?"
Trump replied, "I really have no problem doing it. I have it right here."
Ever the carnival barker, Trump then asks the audience, "Should I do it? I don't care."
Donald Trump substituted a one-page summary from Dr. Bornstein and made believe it was all of his current medical records.
"Those were all the tests that were just done last week."
As usual Trump had to say something idiotic: "I feel as good today as I did when I was 30."
Nobody who is seventy feels as good as they did when they were thirty and it's just another weird lie Trump didn't have to make. But he can't help himself. I expect that pathology wasn't included in the one-page report.
Trump is 6-foot-3 and weighs 236 pounds, the letter said. Testing results showed that Trump's cholesterol is 169 mg/dL, with his HDL level at 63 mg/dL, his LDL level at 94 mg/dL and his triglycerides at 61 mg/dL.
His blood pressure during the recent exam was 116/70 and his blood sugar was 99 mg/dl.
The letter adds that Trump's liver and thyroid tests are normal and that results from a 2013 colonoscopy, as well as an EKG and chest X-ray from this past April, were also normal. Trump's physical exam took place Friday, according to the letter from Bornstein, whom the campaign said has been Trump's physician for more than 30 years.
