Nothing in this video will surprise you, except maybe the bombshell that Donald Trump did business with Cuba at a time when it was patently illegal to do so, and lied to Cuban-Americans in Miami about it less than 8 months later.
Corey Lewandowski does the surrogates' job of lying for Trump. But Corey is getting lazy. A memo of "post-debate talking points for surrogates" was leaked to media this week, and in this clip, Corey Lewandowski, a CNN employee (yeah), gets caught by Alisyn Camerota repeating chapter and verse of "talking point number 18."
So what? He doesn't care.
His job is so scripted and automatic he can afford to be lazy. Lie about Trump, and when that doesn't work, yell "But Hillary" lies over and over again until the segment is over.
As others have said, the script on CNN is to have a Trump Red Ant and a Clinton Black Ant on set so the host can put them in a sealed jar, shake it up, and watch them fight until we have to go to a Cialis commercial.
The "other side" in this segment, NYC Council Speaker Melissa Mark-Viverito, seemed bored, too. The puppet show is getting old.
