Now that Donald Trump has decided that he has "ended" this whole birther issue, and with Fox declaring that his five year crusade to delegitimize the first African-American President of the United States is now "off the table," will the rest of the talking heads in the corporate media follow suit?
We shall see. Regardless of how they handle Trump's latest joke of a "pivot" after years of race baiting, expect all of them to continue to ignore what should have been the biggest story of the week, Kurt Eichenwald's excellent reporting for Newsweek on the Trump Organization and their global financial web.

Republican presidential nominee Trump talks to "MediaBuzz" at 11 a.m. on Fox News Channel. Other guests are Kelly Riddell of The Washington Times, Democratic strategist Joe Trippi and James Rosen of Fox News.
Sen. Kaine, D-Va., and Gov. John Kasich, R-Ohio, are set for NBC's "Meet the Press" at 9 a.m. on WESH-Channel 2. Kellyanne Conway, Trump campaign manager, is another guest. The panel will be Democratic pollster Cornell Belcher, Republican strategist Alex Castellanos, Maureen Dowd of The New York Times and Katy Tur of NBC.
Kaine, Conway and Rep. John Lewis, D-Ga., are guests on CBS' "Face the Nation" at 10:30 a.m. on WKMG-Channel 6. Other guests are CNN commentator David Axelrod; Lanhee Chen, former policy director for the Romney-Ryan presidential campaign; and Reince Priebus, chairman of the Republican National Committee. A political panel features Mark Leibovich of The New York Times Magazine, Ruth Marcus of The Washington Post, Nancy Cordes of CBS and Reihan Salam of National Review Institute.
Kaine and Gov. Pence, R-Ind., are guests on ABC's "This Week" at 10 a.m. on WFTV-Channel 9. The panel will be Yamiche Alcindor of The New York Times, Dan Balz of The Washington Post, Rich Lowry of National Review and ABC's Cokie Roberts.
Kaine and Gov. Chris Christie, R-N.J., are talking to "Fox News Sunday" at 10 a.m. on WOFL-Channel 35. Clooney and human rights activist John Prendergast discuss corruption in South Sudan. Lonnie Bunch, director of the National Museum of African American History and Culture, gives a tour of the building. The panel will be Karl Rove, Lisa Lerer of The Associated Press, Monica Crowley of The Washington Times and Charles Lane of The Washington Post.
Kaine and Christie are also on "State of the Union" at 9 a.m. and noon on CNN. The panel will be CNN political commentator Kevin Madden, Neera Tanden of the Center for American Progress, former Gov. Jan Brewer, R-Ariz., and Marc Morial, president of the National Urban League.
Ginni Rometty, president and CEO of IBM, talks to "Fareed Zakaria GPS" at 10 a.m. and 1 p.m. on CNN. Other guests are Jennifer Harris of the Council on Foreign Relations, Joshua Cooper Ramo of Kissinger Associates and Rob Schmitz of National Public Radio.
Pence talks to "Sunday Morning Futures" at 10 a.m. on WOFL-Channel 35. Other guests are Jim Kallstrom, former assistant director of the FBI; Keith Alexander, CEO & president of IronNet; and actor Voight, a Trump supporter. The panel will be Mary Kissel of The Wall Street Journal, GOP strategist Ed Rollins and Richard Fowler, Democratic strategist and radio host.
The panel on "Inside Politics," at 8 a.m. on CNN, will be Maggie Haberman of The New York Times, Abby Phillip of The Washington Post, Julie Pace of The Associated Press and Sara Murray of CNN.
"Reliable Sources" will offer a panel on "Donald Trump plays the media" at 11 a.m. on CNN. The panel on that topic will be Carl Bernstein, Lynn Sweet of the Chicago Sun-Times, David Fahrenthold of The Washington Post and S.E. Cupp. Other guests are Gary Johnson, Libertarian Party nominee for president, and Jason Zengerle, political correspondent of GQ.
