Trump's supposed campaign manager, Kellyanne Conway, was uncharacteristically nasty during an interview on CNN's New Day.

It would be reasonable to ask, is the job finally getting to her?

Co-host Alisyn Camerota asked about Trump's refusal to release his tax returns and his
kooky doctor's statement about his health. or releasing his tax returns, she turned paranoid and defensive and at one point asked, "Are you calling him a liar?”

And instead of answering the many questions posed to her, she went straight to her defense mechanism and changed the subject to her Hillary Clinton talking points.

But more than other mornings, she seems really, really angry. It was very weird.

She constantly bashed Camerota's questions, claiming they came from the Clinton campaign, "Alisyn, this is what I expect from the Clinton campaign. I don't expect it from journalists."

It was also strange to hear a conservative Republican bash the Clintons for making money when her client has run on being a hugely successful businessman, claiming to be worth ten billion dollars.

Camerota asked, "But why is is bad to be a billionaire? Donald Trump has touted it too. Why is that a shortcoming?" Conway replied, "Excuse me? It's not a shortcoming. I'm a capitalist."

Conway refused to answer most questions directed at Trump's charitable giving since he's refused to release his tax returns,

Alisyn wondered why we should just take his word for it.

She asked, "Part of why people are calling for him to release his taxes is so that we do know how he himself has given to charity. Will you or the campaign release exactly what that number is?”

Conway said, “I doubt it. This is like badgering. In other words, I don’t see it as journalism. I see it as badgering. In other words, we’ve had this conversation so many times on so many different networks, and yet, we’re not having conversations about what the middle class tax relief would actually mean for people’s wage stagnation.”

Camerota shot back, "How is it badgering to ask for the evidence of a claim? If Mike Pence is saying ‘tens of millions’ of dollars [went to charity] from Donald Trump, shouldn’t we see the evidence?”

Conway shifted once again to attack the networks saying that they are protecting Hillary and Camerota said, "We ask a lot of questions of the Clinton campaign but when you're here representing the Trump campaign we ask these questions. You can't make claims and expect everyone to accept it."

Conway said, "I think Donald Trump's a very generous man."

When she asked Conway to point of evidence of Trump's generosity, Kellyanne weirdly replied, "To have employed tens of thousands of people from many different countries, both genders certainly...over the years..."

Alisyn shot back, "Sure, but that's not charity. Employment is not charity."

Conway replied, "It's pretty darn impressive..."

Hiring employees is not being generous and Conway knows it. But this is the type of interview from a Trump spokesperson that we've come to expect now.

Refusing to answer questions because their candidate obviously has something to hide and will not be transparent is, at this point, pathetic.

Alisyn Camerota did a good job of not letting Kellyanne Conway off the hook.

One has to assume that the Trump paycheck is not as big as the job Kellyanne Conway has to perform day in and day out. Defending the indefensible is taking its toll.

Conway is certainly losing it.
