So much fail at this fake news Trump event this morning, reporters are finally biting back at Trump and his lies.
Could this be the bough breaking? Has the media finally had enough? I'm not holding my breath, although the tweets from this morning can't be unsaid.
First up, this event was held at Trump's new DC hotel, and while billed as a campaign event, was clearly a showcasing for free advertising of the new property. So much for separating the Trump business from the Trump "Presidency."
Then, the Trump people physically barred reporters from the event, allowing cameras only. This is a violation of the press pool agreement, and the press pool reacted accordingly -- deleting their footage, and refusing to cover the "hotel tour" being touted as part of the press conference. No, really.
And then as if on cue the curtain on stage collapsed.
Reporters are not happy, and they are finally, FINALLY, saying so. At least on Twitter:
