One could almost hear the collective sigh of relief ripple through the Village Pundits' Association as Donald Trump made an appearance in Green Bay, Wisconsin before his adoring fans.
After rambling about booting the baby, Trump finally got down to business, endorsing Kelly Ayotte, Paul Ryan and John McCain. Reading the endorsements from prepared index cards, Trump offered them with all the enthusiasm of a man with a gun to his back, just out of range of the camera.
These sum it up well:
Who got the job of squeezing @realdonaldtrump's wee balls as he read that?

This is like a hostage video right now with Trump endorsing Ryan, McCain and Ayotte

It would be funny if it wasn't so meaningful to Those Who Comment For A Living.
.@VickiMcKenna on Trump's Ryan and McCain endorsement: "That was about as on-message as he has been in a long time." https://t.co/xGjuGHKrii

Oh, thank God. I'm with Digby on this one:
Pundits relieved. Trump turned it around. This is it, the big pivot. Clinton camp terrified. Whew.

Just wait and see. By Sunday morning they will all be nattering about how Trump has put his campaign back on track and Clinton had best be on notice. You know it's coming.
