What's the saying? "You can't keep a rich sexual predator down"?
The NY Times is reporting that recently deposed Fox News' chief Roger Ailes, who was dismissed for sexual harassment allegations is now officially advising Donald Trump with an eye on the three upcoming presidential debates.
Two sources also claimed that Ailes could stick around much longer in an effort to help Trump regain his footing in the general election.
The Trump campaign denied this new alignment.
A spokeswoman for Mr. Trump, Hope Hicks, denied that Mr. Ailes was advising him in any capacity. Noting in an email that “Mr. Ailes and Mr. Trump have been friends for many years,” she said their relationship was being mischaracterized.
“They speak occasionally, which isn’t news,” she said.
CNN's Dylan Byers said that the two heavyweights have always been in close contact even before Ailes was ousted from Fox News.
Byers said, "They are talking, they are discussing the upcoming debates and I do think Mr. Trump, based off the sources we've spoken with, finds Mr. Ailes' advice on that front invaluable."
Can Roger Ailes get the Russians to hack Hillary's debate notes, or is that still Manafort's job?
