Newt Gingrich has been a Republican for a very long time which makes him one of the most skilled liars in his party. Keep in mind, however, that his party's best and brightest is Donald J. Trump, likely the biggest liar to ever run for political office.

The disgraced former Speaker was on Fox 'News' Saturday afternoon to give his completely convoluted assessment of the Trump-Pence obvious photo-op Friday, in the tragically flooded Baton Rouge area. Fox weekend anchor, Uma Pemmaraju had no chance against the aggressively dishonest paragon of GOP virtue. He railroaded her with his GOP generalities that denigrate minorities and Democrats. Funny how they are so heavy on the dog-whistle in the same place where David Duke resides. I'm sure the irony escapes the weekend Fox 'News' viewer. A few examples:

• You have President Obama off golfing (lazy)
• 'Not willing to break into his vacation' (elitist)
• Hillary Clinton is taking a couple of days off to rest (she's sickly/dying lie)
• It's (photo-op) sending the exactly the right signal of concern & compassion (to the gullible)
• (Men) have the energy and drive to do it.

He really laid it on thick that Trump is the paragon of industriousness while old Grandma Hillary isn't strong enough to tie her own tennis shoes. Does he look like he's ever done any hard labor in his life? His third wife, Calista, has plenty of her own earnings from children's books, while his income is insanely exorbitant for such an unexceptional member of society. As he would say, 'frankly,' he's never shown that he has any selfless motives, much like his friend Donald. He has no right to judge anyone's work ethic, especially Hillary Clinton.
Most notably, when Newt is on Fox 'News' his assertions are totally unchallenged, no matter how baseless they are. This statement sums up his more than seven minutes of 'malarkey.'

Well, I think there are two contrasts that are striking.. One is that Trump cares enough to show up and Obama doesn't and stays,playing golf. The other is that Trump has the sheer energy and drive to get on the airplane and go to Louisiana. I can't imagine why Hillary Clinton would choose resting for two days over going to Louisiana,. but she did; Ah, so you may see a growing contrast in energy level as the Trump people think this is the significant subliminal issue in the campaign that he has the drive, he has the energy, he has the toughness, the he can take it on. He believes she does not.

Funny that he'd use the term subliminal, because that reflects precisely how much of a manufactured issue this is. Pemmaraju is there to try to build up Newt and give him credit for convincing Herr Drumpf to venture outside his normal Klan rally routine. He said that these decisions are made by a small number of people and they know what he thinks because 'they watch me on your show,' not at all pandering.

He boasted about the Milwaukee (area) rally, and praised Rudy Giuliani for being the best mayor, EVER. Newt is very impressed with the malevolent new campaign manager/resident white supremacist, Stephen Bannon, because, of course he is. Then Uma sets up Newt for his favorite past time: predicting the imminent demise of Bill and Hillary Clinton. The amount of envy he harbors for the success of the Clinton Global Initiative is clearly a sore spot, and he can't wait for all these 'scandals' to do her in. It's only a matter of time. He can't stand anyone having the spotlight, obviously.

Newt predicts that finally, this September, the weight of her 'scandals' will destroy her. In the meantime, the GOP will pretend that their candidate is a viable, normal person running for POTUS. Newt arrogantly proclaims,

If she drowns, he wins.

Seriously? As if he, after decades of trying to take down the far more capable Clintons, will, at last, succeed in hastening their imminent demise...

I can't imagine that an impetuous, lazy person like Newt Gingrich has the discipline to wait even more than one extra day to 'destroy' the former President and Secretary of State. One can't help but root for any of Newt's opponents, even if you despise the Clintons. That's because flawed as they are, they at least show themselves to be far more capable people who have the intellect, the drive, the heart and the power to govern, considerably more than this rear-end smooching buffoon.
