During a Nevada rally for Governor Mike Pence, a military mother confronted the Vice Presidential candidate over the dreadful treatment of the Khan family by Donald Trump.

When she initially stood up she was cheered until she brought up Donald Trump and the Khan family.

She said, "Time and time again, Trump has disrespected our nation’s armed forces and veterans, and his disrespect for Mr. Khan and his family is just an example."

The Pence supporters erupted in boos.

She was drowned out by the agitated crowd, but she continued on, "You have a son in the military - how do you tolerate his disrespect?"

Gov. Pence tried to calm the crowd down and said, "I thank you for the question. " He continued, "It's alright, it's alright. Folks, that's what freedom looks like and that's what freedom sounds like."

He then turned his back on her and never bothered to answer the question.

The idea that he cowardly shunned a military mom like that is shameful for any man, but for one that has a son in the military, it's reprehensible.

When Sen. John McCain was confronted by one of his supporters who said she heard candidate Barack Obama "was an Arab, " McCain shot her down completely by saying, "I have to tell you. Sen. Obama is a decent person and a person you don’t have to be scared of as president of the United States,"

Even though the crowd wasn't happy, Sen. McCain showed some class and dignity on the spot.

Not so for Gov. Pence.
